Rain chains originated hundreds of years ago in Japan and are used as a decorative alternative to a cheerless guter downspout. Enjoy watching the rainwater dance playfully down these hand-crafted copper channels, producing a pleasant sound.
Rain chains are made of pure unfinished copper. The polished finish will gradually oxidize to a natural patina finish. These can also be used as planters.
Copper rain chains and leaders are also available with an antiqued weathered look.
This includes 6 1/2 feet of chain. We recommend 9 feet total for a downspout. To make 9 feet, order one extension (Item #gd498, See Below). |
